Lagos-based accountant Mrs. Ronke Olaniyi (née Bajomo), together with her husband Mr. Olushola Emmanuel Olaniyi and her siblings, honored the memory of their late father, Elder (Chief) Moses Olatunbosun Bajomo, with a godly and dignified funeral ceremony.
The final burial rites, held on Friday, July 10, 2026, drew a large gathering of family members, friends, associates, and well-wishers who came to pay tribute to the patriarch, who passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the age of 80.
A solemn church service was conducted at the First African Church Mission, Christ Church Cathedral, Oyingbo Road, Ebute Metta, Lagos, where heartfelt tributes highlighted Baba’s enduring faith, lifelong service, and remarkable legacy.
Following the church service, guests were hosted to a grand reception at the Paradise Event Arena, Alagomeji, Yaba, where they were entertained with live musical performances in a serene atmosphere, accompanied by abundant food and drinks.
Elder Bajomo was remembered as a dedicated public servant and a devout Christian who lived a life worthy of emulation. He was celebrated for his humor, philosophical outlook, diligence, doggedness, industry, intelligence, and integrity. A man of dignity, he strongly believed in the transformative power of education—a value reflected in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Madam Patience Foluke Bajomo (née Oyedele), and children, Mrs. Ibironke Olaniyi, Dr. Temitope Ayorinde, Barr. Bolanle Oyekan, Mr. Femi Bajomo, Mr. Abiola Bajomo. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, who continue to uphold his legacy of faith, service, and education.
