In a groundbreaking discovery surrounding the sudden death of Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, popular social media investigator, Akeem Akintola a.k.a. ‘Oko Awon Single Mothers’, has revealed how a network of personal informants and traffic officials helped him uncover what he describes as a calculated cover-up.
Akeem stated that he had bypassed widespread rumours through aggressive, grassroots detective work that successfully connected the dots between Lagos State and Ogun State.
“When rumours hit the town about Tope’s death, I immediately contacted one of my sisters who resides in the Ikorodu area,” Akeem told journalists, explaining how he initiated his private investigation.
He said he tasked the sister with conducting discreet inquiries across local neighbourhoods and medical centers to verify a claim made by the actress’ fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, who alleged that Tope died in an Ikorodu police station. Akeem’s local intelligence quickly disproved the pastor’s claim, proving instead that the actress was transit-bound and actually passed away at her residence in Sagamu, Ogun State.
Seeking absolute clarity on how the 40-year-old actress was found lifeless inside her own vehicle, the Europe based Nigerian born blogger said he went directly to officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) who helped him to work on the matter.
“The LASTMA officials provided me with the full breakdown of how Tope’s car was intercepted and what was found inside,” Akeem stated. The traffic operatives, he said, provided him with indisputable logistics and physical evidence from the vehicle. He said that it was this critical feedback that allowed him to firmly establish on his online show that the actress did not die of breast cancer relapse as initially reported, but was instead the victim of foul play and suspected poisoning.
Akeem’s investigative broadcasts also brought forward a chilling testimony from Tope’s Personal Assistant, who revealed that a strange woman called on the afternoon of Tope’s death demanding the security PIN and password to the actress’ phone.
The explosive evidence uncovered by Akeem has completely altered the trajectory of the tragedy, catching the attention of Tope’s immediate family, including an older sibling living in the United Kingdom.
After his revelation, Akeem confirmed that Tope’s family has now agreed to do a full autopsy on her body before she is buried. He added that forensic and toxicological evidence from the medical examination will be used to launch a formal criminal case with the police if foul play is scientifically proven.
