Chief Simon Eze, a respected stakeholder in Akpugo, Nkanu West Local Government Area, and a staunch supporter of Governor Peter Mbah’s 2027 reelection bid, has reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to grassroots sensitization and mobilization across Akpugo and its neighboring communities to ensure a smooth and successful reelection for the performing Governor.
Speaking to senior correspondents at the Abuja airport last weekend on behalf of Akpugo stakeholders, Chief Eze emphasized that the Akpugo community remains resolute in renewing its mandate by amplifying the achievements of Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah in Enugu State.
According to Eze, a distinguished employer of labor and philanthropist: “We are deeply inspired by Governor Mbah’s transformative leadership in Enugu State. This has united us in Akpugo—across religious groups, trade unions, elites, youths, business owners, and artisans in Nkanu West LGA—to collectively reaffirm our strong support for him. Ours is an organic movement, driven not by political appointments but by genuine appreciation of his accomplishments and vision for the future.”
He further noted that the Governor’s initiatives transcend the present generation: “What he is doing today is not only for us but for generations to come. Through our unity forum, we are consolidating support in every ward, highlighting his achievements, and ensuring that his second term will be earned seamlessly by merit.”
Chief Eze, CEO of Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel in Lagos, praised Governor Mbah’s unique role in fostering unity and progress in Enugu politics: “Governor Mbah has achieved what no leader has done in recent times. He embodies unity, peace, and development—the twin pillars recognized globally as essential for sustainable progress. Without unity, even the best development projects face obstacles.”
He concluded by assuring that Governor Mbah’s record of achievements speaks for itself: “The Governor can rest assured—his scorecard is his strongest credential. The people of Enugu State, not just Akpugo, stand firmly behind him as he marches toward a seamless reelection in 2027.”
