An Ikeja Electric Plc (IKEDC) field official was rescued after suffering an electric shock while carrying out repairs on a power pole at Gbagada Bus Stop, Lagos.
The incident, which briefly caused panic among commuters and onlookers, was swiftly managed by his colleagues who worked tirelessly to bring him down safely from the elevated ladder.
In a video circulating on social media seen by Veracity Desk (veracitydesk.com), two IKEDC workers were seen struggling to lower the affected staff member, who appeared stuck with his head facing downward and his body constrained. Despite the difficulty, the victim remained responsive, moving his arms and body as his colleagues coordinated the rescue.
