The National Executive President of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), Comrade (Dr., Otunba) Salimon Akanni Oladiti (JP), has extended warm congratulations to former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, on his 72nd birthday.
In a goodwill message personally signed by him, Comrade Oladiti praised Dr. Mimiko’s courage, doggedness, and exemplary leadership, describing him as an exceptional statesman whose contributions to the development of Ondo State, particularly in the health sector remain indelible.
“Dr. Mimiko is an exceptional leader and a statesman whose contributions to the development of the State, especially in the health and other key sectors, remain impactful. His humility, intelligence, and ability to address complex issues with practical solutions continue to distinguish him.
“It is my earnest prayer that the Almighty will continue to bless you with good health, long life, and many more years of invaluable service to humanity. I wish you success and fruitfulness in your political endeavors, and I also look forward to seeing you take on even greater assignments that will advance the collective and corporate interests of our nation,” Oladiti stated.
The NUPENG President also recalled Mimiko’s steadfast support for the NUPENG family, particularly his presence and encouragement during key moments in the union’s journey.
He expressed delight that despite his tight schedule, Dr. Mimiko attended his thanksgiving victory service in Ibadan, a gesture Oladiti said further demonstrated the bond of brotherhood and mutual respect between them.
