Nigerians irrespective of their status, achievements or position in life have been admonished to emulate the life of simplicity and humility in order to build an equitable society that is decent, modest and filled with high moral rectitude.
Ibadan-born businessman and publisher of The Street Journal Magazine, Mogaji Wole Arisekola made these assertions on his social media post few days ago.
He equally noted that only God knows tomorrow.
Arisekola who is also the National Chairman of the Association of Online Media Practitioners in Nigeria (AMPCON), in recent time has been seen sharing numerous nuggets and other valuable ideas and facts that can positively help people shape their lives and also to educate, inform and entertain them on a regular basis.
His recent post seen by Veracity Desk (veracitydesk.com) reads in full as reproduced hereunder:
Becoming a political leader? Be humble.
Being the richest man on earth? Be humble.
Being the best you think you are? Be humble.
Whatever position you find yourself in, be humble.
The people whose calls you find annoying today may be the ones who will save you and your family tomorrow—be humble.
Many people with the best jobs today might be unemployed by this time next year—be humble.
The dice is still rolling, and it’s not ready to stop yet. The number you see today may not be the one on your side this time next year—be humble.
Only God knows tomorrow.
