Lagos will play host to a constellation of Nigeria’s most distinguished statesmen and leaders today, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, as Vanguard Newspapers marks its 40th anniversary with a grand book launch and reunion at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island.
Among the dignitaries expected are former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd.); Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu; former Minister of External Affairs, General Ike Nwachukwu (retd.); former Ogun State Governor, Chief Segun Osoba; and Publisher of ThisDay/Arise Media, Prince Nduka Obaigbena.
