Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu has paid glowing tribute to his deputy and long-time political partner, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, as he marks his 62nd birthday, describing him as a dependable ally whose loyalty and dedication have been pivotal to the progress of Lagos State.

The Governor, joined by his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and their family, extended warm wishes to Hamzat, praying for continued health, wisdom, and strength as he continues his service to the state.
Dr. Hamzat, who doubles as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Lagos in the 2027 elections, has been widely recognized for his role in shaping policy and governance alongside Sanwo-Olu.
