Sahara has announced the appointment of Chidilim Menakaya as its new Managing Director, entrusting her with steering the company’s next phase of growth under its ambitious “Beyond XXX” agenda.
Menakaya, a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, previously served as Director of the Sahara Foundation. In that role, she championed the Group’s sustainability and social impact initiatives, driving the expansion of its EXTRApreneurship model and forging strategic partnerships across the communities where Sahara operates.
Her appointment signals Sahara Group’s continued commitment to innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth, as the company positions itself for greater impact on the global stage.
Commenting on the appointment, Executive Director, Sahara, Ade Odunsi, said the decision reflected the company’s confidence in purposeful leadership and its commitment to building the future from within.
