Public records show that Pastor Ogedengbe was reappointed as Executive Assistant on Administration at the commencement of Governor Makinde’s second term in June 2023, having previously served in the same capacity during the Governor’s first term in 2019.
In this role, he oversees critical administrative functions, represents the Governor at official engagements, and drives the administration’s zero-tolerance policy on corruption through project audits and reviews.
Before joining the Oyo State Government, Ogedengbe built a distinguished career in the finance and investment sectors, serving as a fund manager, investment banker, and director at reputable firms such as Vintage Wealth Managers Limited.
A respected cleric and advocate for Christian participation in governance, Ogedengbe consistently emphasizes that Governor Makinde’s mandate is rooted in accountability, transparency, and people-centered development.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lagos.
Pastor Ogedengbe is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, a member of the Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria, and the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Ogedengbe currently serves on the Board of Dunn Loren Merrifield Securities Limited and has previously held directorial positions at ESS Investment & Trust Limited.
His career includes leadership roles as Managing Director of Vintage Wealth Managers Limited and senior management positions at United Bank for Africa.
He also distinguished himself as Head of Investment Strategy and Research at FCMB Capital Markets Group and CSL Stockbrokers Limited, where he was among the pioneer fund managers of the Legacy Fund.
Additionally, he worked at Financial Derivatives Company (FDC) as Senior Investment Officer for financial advisory and research.
