Prince Akinfemiwa Akinruntan, the Group Managing Director of OBAT Group, has dismissed recent speculations about his father’s health, affirming that the wealthy businessman and traditional ruler remains alive and in good condition.
In a statement released on Tueday, Femi – as he is more widely addressed – expressed deep concern over the misinformation circulating about his father, emphasizing that such rumors are unfounded.
He clarified that his father, the Olugbo of Ugbo in Ondo state, is currently enjoying a well-deserved vacation and urged the public to refrain from spreading falsehoods.
“We want to address the recent misinformation regarding my father. Contrary to what has been reported, he is alive and in good health, currently enjoying a vacation. We urge everyone to refrain from spreading false information and respect our family’s privacy during this time,” his statement read.
This clarification puts to rest widespread concerns sparked by reports alleging the passing of the Ugbo king.
