Oluwatoyin Mary Bayode is the visionary founder of EdumasteryByToyin, a dynamic digital learning platform designed to harness technology in educating children between the ages of 3 and 7.

Her mission is to bridge educational gaps and empower young learners to achieve their full potential in an increasingly digital world.

A graduate of the University of Lagos, Oluwatoyin is a dedicated educationist whose intellectual drive, patience, and passion have distinguished her in the field of early childhood education. Over the years, she has nurtured and groomed countless youngsters, equipping them with the skills and discipline required for academic excellence.

Speaking with journalists in Lagos about her initiative, Oluwatoyin emphasized the transformative power of online education: “In today’s rapidly evolving world, education is no longer confined to the four walls of a classroom. The digital revolution has transformed learning into a dynamic, borderless experience, making online education not just an option but a necessity.

For Nigeria, where traditional schooling faces challenges such as overcrowded classrooms, limited infrastructure, and economic constraints, online learning offers a powerful alternative that can bridge gaps and democratize access to knowledge.

Parents play a pivotal role in this transformation. Their guidance and support are essential in helping children adapt to digital platforms, cultivate discipline, and maximize the opportunities that online learning provides. Without parental involvement, many wards risk being overwhelmed by distractions or failing to harness the full potential of these tools.”

The Ondo State–born educationist further advised parents to view online learning not as a threat to traditional education but as a complementary tool that strengthens their children’s future prospects.

She highlighted key parental responsibilities, including monitoring children’s online activities to ensure focus and safety, motivating wards to remain consistent and disciplined in their studies, providing essential resources such as internet access, digital devices, and conducive study environments as well as collaborating with teachers and platforms to track progress and address challenges where necessary.

Through EdumasteryByToyin, Oluwatoyin continues to champion the cause of accessible, future-ready education, inspiring both parents and children to embrace digital learning as a pathway to excellence.
