The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on Thursday led a delegation of prominent traditional rulers from Oyo State to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on a thank-you visit to President Bola Tinubu.
The delegation included the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Alao; the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola; the Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola; the Osi Olubadan, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi; the Alajawa of Ajawa, Oba Adeyeye Oyetunji; the Aare Ago of Ogbomoso, High Chief S. Otolorin, who represented the Soun of Ogbomoso; and the Onigbeti of Igbeti, Oba Abioye Basiru Olalekan, who represented the Okere of Saki.
Similarly, businessman, socialite, show promoter, National President/Chairman of the Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (AMPON), and publisher of The Street Journal Magazine, Mogaji Ajenigi-Eye of Yemetu-Oje, Bowale Oluwole Arisekola also made the list of the high profile guests who were in attendance on Thursday at the presidential. The visit was to express appreciation to the Federal Government for its swift intervention in the rescue of teachers and pupils abducted in Oriire Local Government Area.
Oba Ladoja, who also serves as Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, commended the Tinubu administration for ongoing and proposed federal road projects designed to enhance connectivity across Oyo State and neighbouring regions.

Speaking after the visit, Mogaji Wole Arisekola, who accompanied the Olubadan, described the occasion as “an uncommon privilege” and offered gratitude to God for the successful engagement.
