NUPENG President, Salimon Oladiti Extols The Broadcasting Prowess Of FRCN, Calls It “National Treasure”

The newly inaugurated President of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, Comrade Salimon Akanni Oladiti, has tasked governments at all levels, to continue to preserve the legacy of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, as a national treasure.

Mr Oladiti gave the charge during a visit by the management of FRCN Ibadan, Zonal Station, to his SAO Yard Office, Ojo’o, Ibadan.

He noted that FRCN has remained a grassroots-friendly station that has been providing prompt and unbiased information to the people.

Mr Oladiti also commended FRCN for supporting individuals, organisations and corporate bodies, irrespective of status.

The Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan Zonal Station, Mr Olufemi Fulani, while congratulating Mr oladiti on his recent election as the NUPENG President maintained that he should not relent in his humanitarian services to the people.

Mr Fulani noted that plans are underway by FRCN, Ibadan Zonal station to immortalize the name of Mr Salimon Akanni Oladiti.

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of an award to Mr Oladiti for his contributions to humanity.

On the entourage of the Zonal Director, FRCN Ibadan, were the Deputy Director, Programmes, Reverend Niyi Dahunsi, Assistant Director, Corporate Development and Communication, Mr Steven Agbaje; and Controller of Programmes, Mrs Funmilayo Ilesanmi.
