No Vacancy In Enugu Govt House Until 2031 After Peter Mbah Completes His 2nd Term, Says Akpugo Stakeholders

Stakeholders from Akpugo in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, including students, youths, religious groups, artisans, traditional rulers, and business people — have pledged their support for Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in the 2027 general elections.

The pledge was recently made during a meeting in Akpugo, coordinated by Chief Simon Eze, where party and community leaders and grassroots supporters gathered to plan for Mbah’s re-election. They described Governor Mbah as a proven leader whose first term since 2023 has brought major improvements in infrastructure, public transport, and healthcare.

Chief Eze declared: “There is no vacancy in Enugu Government House until 2031, after Peter Mbah has completed his second term.”

The stakeholders described the incumbent Governor as a proven leader whose first term in office from 2023 to date has delivered “exemplary leadership” in infrastructure, public transportation, and healthcare.

They noted that Mba’s financial expertise strengthened Enugu as a leading economic hub, while his inclusive approach to governance positioned him as “a leader who listens to stakeholders and the populace. I must state very clearly that there is no vacancy In Enugu Government House Until 2031 after Peter Mbah must have completed his second term in office.”

“As we deliberate on candidates for different positions in the upcoming 2027 elections, I urge you all to consider the broader implications of Mbah’s second term. His proven track record and vision for the future align seamlessly with APC’s commitment to progress and development. The is the time for all of us in Akpugo in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State to mobilise in large number and contribute meaningfully to the electoral success of Mbah,” Eze said.

Chief Eze, a Lagos-based businessman who is the owner Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel, Satellite Town maintained that bringing back Peter Mbah would “propel Enugu into a new era of prosperity and innovation” while reinforcing APC’s image as a party of progress. “Governor Mbah is a tested administrator whose legacy in infrastructure, fiscal discipline, and governance continues to resonate across the state,” Ese confirmed.
