Arsenal ended their 22-year wait to be crowned champions on Tuesday after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth. The Gunners’ relentless pursuit of the trophy made this campaign historic and memorable for football fans worldwide.
City needed a win to keep the title race alive until the final day, but Bournemouth extended their unbeaten run to 17 league games — a streak that also secured European football for the first time in the club’s history.
Although Dr. Adesina is a staunch supporter of Manchester United, he set aside rivalries in the spirit of sportsmanship to celebrate Arsenal’s achievement.
