Elder Betiku, an octogenarian and native of Ondo City, Ondo State, died peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the age of 82.

He is survived by his 78-year-old wife, Mrs. Rebecca Betiku, and five children: Betiku Olanrewaju Sunday, Betiku Philips Olaotan, Betiku Olakunle Samuel, Betiku Olamide Oladayo, and Betiku Toluwalope Oladiran, along with numerous grandchildren.

“With sadness in our hearts and gratitude to God for a life well spent, we announce the call to glory of our beloved father, Elder Franklin Ojo Betiku. He was the epitome of love and will be sorely missed. May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the family statement read.

In a memorial tribute, the family honored him as a man whose love, kindness, and integrity shaped lives around him. “He loved fiercely and gave endlessly. In his arms we found home; in his smile, we found peace. Though gone from our sight, he remains forever in our hearts.”

Funeral arrangements, the family noted, will be announced in due course.
