The Executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede has displayed consistency in deepening community engagement and stakeholders’ collaboration, an initiative ultimately designed to identify, understand and address needs of the local dwellers, with the intention to close gaps and justify grassroots governance in tandem with the Renewed Hope Strategy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the THEMES+ Agenda of Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu.
Thursday, 16th April 2026 was another historic moment, when Hon. Olojede, convened a Community Stakeholders Consultative Meeting with residents and key stakeholders drawn from Irede, Ikaare, Iyagbe, and adjoining communities on the proposed Ward H Circular Road Project at The Glorious Suite, Mumuni Adio Badmus Road, Satellite Town, Lagos.

The meeting served as a platform to actively engage the people, outline the scope and benefits of the projects, and also creating a pivotal opportunity to receive feedbacks, while also ensuring inclusiveness and community participation.
The engagement further highlighted the project as a veritable tool to ease mobility stress, broaden socio-economic activities, enhance development, and as well promote community cohesion.

Extensive deliberations were made between the consulting company, Daramore Engineering Limited, alongside other engineering experts, indigenous professionals, traditional rulers, youths, and women, all of whom contributed meaningfully to the high profile communal dialogue.
Hon. Olojede used the epochal occasion to emphasize the importance of the Circular Road Project in improving connectivity, boosting profitable enterprise, and improving infrastructural development within the axis.
He further assured residents of transparency and collaboration throughout the implementation process.
Hon. (Dr.) Olawale Age-Sulaimon, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Amuwo-Odofin Constituency II, on his part lent his voice in support of the laudable projects.
Representing distinguished Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro (GAC Member), Alhaji Olalekan Akodu delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the Senator, he applauded the Executive Chairman, and prayed for wisdom to successfully execute the laudable projects in record time.

Stakeholders at the meeting profoundly expressed their appreciations to the Council for carrying them along, while also making valuable contributions and observations aimed at ensuring the successful execution of the project in an atmosphere that fosters understanding, cooperation, and open and inclusive conversations.
Hon. Ganiu Tunji Olukolu, Apex Leader, Amuwo-Odofin Constituency in his fatherly advice, applauded the Chairman for the laudable initiative, and prayed for the successful completion of the highlighted projects, with a renewed commitment between the Council and the communities to work together for sustainable development and progress in Oriade LCDA.
