Former Deputy President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Joseph Iranola Akinlaja, has proudly congratulated his son, Akinwande Isaac Akinlaja, who recently earned dual master’s degrees, a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master’s in Organizational Communication, from Bowie State University (BSU), Maryland.
Akinwande was formally recognized as a graduating student during the Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony held at the prestigious institution on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Comrade Akinlaja, who also served as General Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and represented Ondo East and West Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, expressed immense joy at his son’s accomplishment and offered heartfelt prayers for his continued success.
