Ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders in Akpugo, Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, have renewed their support for Governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, declaring their commitment to his second-term bid.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Chief Simon Eze, coordinator of Akpugo 4 Peter Mbah – 2027, said the stakeholders — drawn from different segments of society including youths, students, artisans, religious leaders, and traditional rulers — are united in their resolve to back the Governor.
Eze, who is the CEO of Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel, Lagos, praised Governor Mbah’s leadership, highlighting policies that promote wealth creation, economic growth, and unity.
“Governor Peter Mbah has shown he is prepared to transform Enugu State through massive infrastructure development, improved security, and job creation. We support continuity in 2027,” Eze stated.
He described Mbah as the first governor in recent history to achieve such remarkable progress, calling him “a fine gentleman, a patriot, and a loyal party man who deserves recognition for his unblemished stewardship.”
Acknowledging that Mbah has built on the legacies of his predecessor since assuming office in 2023, Eze stressed that fairness and continuity should guide the 2027 elections.
“We are unequivocally saying that Governor Mbah is unapologetically our choice for the Enugu State 2027 gubernatorial election,” he declared.
Eze also urged residents of Akpugo and the wider Enugu community to support the Governor in continuing what he described as “noble projects” already shaping the future of the state. He assured that the upcoming Akpugo 4 Peter Mbah – 2027 mega rally would boost grassroots politics, voter awareness, and mobilisation.
