Retail outlets owned by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited have effected a downward adjustment in the pump price of the Premium Motor Spirit, also known as petrol, from N960 per litre to N945 per litre in Lagos State.
Checks by VERACITY DESK (veracitydesk.com) revealed that NNPCL filling stations have adjusted their pumps to reflect the new price template effected nationwide on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Meanwhile, fuel price in Nigeria today varies according to region. For example, the fuel price per litre in Lagos is often different from the fuel price in Abuja, Port Harcourt and other parts of the country.
This change in price is part of a broader initiative to fully deregulate the petroleum sector in Nigeria
