Chief Eze described Governor Mbah as a “performing leader whose uncommon strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and tourism have transformed Enugu into one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing economies.” He emphasized his commitment to grassroots sensitization and mobilization across Akpugo and neighboring communities to ensure a smooth and successful reelection campaign.
Governor Mbah’s administration has been widely lauded for reviving moribund industries, expanding tourism projects such as the Pine Forest zip line and Nsude pyramids restoration, and delivering over 7,000 classrooms equipped with modern facilities. According to Mbah, less than 13 percent of the state’s revenue comes from taxation, with over 87 percent generated through revitalized businesses and strategic investments.
