The factional national chairman of the Accord Party, Prof Chris Imumolen, has declared his support for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) at the All Progressives Congress (APC) mega rally on Thursday.
Recall it was earlier reported that Prof. Imumolen expressed confidence that the governor would lose the Osun election, stressing that he does not believe Adeleke has what it takes to prevail at the polls. NigeriaNews Subscription
He has now declared his support and vowed to back Oyebamiji in the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, August 15.
He also said that all Accord Party structures will support AMBO and ordered all Accord members across all levels in Osun State to vote for him.
Imumolen has also endorsed President Tinubu, saying that he has demonstrated the resilience and courage required to lead Nigeria. FollowFederal Policy
According to him, Tinubu has shown the ability to navigate the country’s complex political and economic challenges without being influenced by ethnic or religious considerations.
