Nigerians have expressed excitement following news that billionaire industrialist Aliko Dangote has accepted an invitation to appear on Curiosity
Made Me Ask, the popular YouTube interview show hosted by Nigerian content creator Adebayo Ridwan, widely known as Bae U Barbie.
Dangote accepted the invitation on Monday during an interaction with the content creator in Lagos.
During the exchange, Bae U encouraged the business mogul to engage more directly with young Nigerians through platforms they actively consume. He noted that many of Dangote’s previous interviews had been conducted on traditional platforms that may not resonate as strongly with younger audiences.
The content creator emphasized that many young Nigerians are eager to learn more about Dangote’s entrepreneurial journey, business empire, and opportunities surrounding the proposed public investment in his company.
Responding, Dangote described young people as the future of both Nigeria and Africa, stressing the importance of sharing knowledge and experiences with the next generation. He noted that greater engagement between established business leaders and young Nigerians is essential for fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and national development.
The billionaire businessman subsequently accepted the invitation, stating that he looks forward to an open and engaging conversation where young people can ask questions about his journey to success, the challenges he faced, and the lessons he learned while building one of Africa’s largest business empires.
However, Dangote did not disclose a date for his appearance on the programme.
