In a demonstration of responsive and accountable leadership, the Executive Chairman of Oriade Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede, on Monday carried out an on-the-spot inspection of ongoing projects at the Kirikiri Health Centre and the Kirikiri Area Office.
The inspection tour, according to the Chairman, was part of his administration’s drive to ensure effective grassroots governance through rigorous project monitoring and strict quality assurance. Accompanied by senior council officials and engineers, Hon. Olojede meticulously assessed the progress of work and compliance with project specifications.
At the Kirikiri Health Centre, he expressed satisfaction with the pace of construction, noting that once completed, the facility would significantly improve access to affordable and quality healthcare for residents of Kirikiri and surrounding communities. He directed contractors to maintain high standards and adhere to the stipulated delivery timeline.
Similarly, during his visit to the Kirikiri Area Office, Hon. Olojede inspected the administrative complex and emphasized the importance of providing a conducive working environment for council staff. He stressed that efficient service delivery at the grassroots depends on well-equipped offices and motivated personnel.
Speaking after the inspection, the Council Chairman reiterated his administration’s unwavering resolve to fulfill its promises, highlighting his commitment to responsible oversight, quality service delivery, and responsive governance.
