Enugu Air Confirms Safe Evacuation After Benin Runway Incident

Enugu Air has confirmed that all passengers and crew aboard one of its aircraft were safely evacuated after the plane experienced a runway incursion upon landing at Benin Airport on Thursday.

In a statement issued by the airline and seen by Veracity Desk (veracitydesk.com), officials emphasized that there were no injuries or casualties recorded. The aircraft was immediately secured, and relevant aviation authorities were notified in line with established safety procedures.

The airline disclosed that a full assessment of the aircraft and the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway. As a precaution, Enugu Air announced that some flight schedules may be temporarily adjusted, with affected passengers to be contacted directly and provided with necessary assistance.
