BREAKING: 68 Passengers Survive Enugu Airlines Crash-Landing in Benin

Tragedy was narrowly averted on Thursday when an Enugu Airlines aircraft carrying 68 passengers crash-landed at the Benin Airport.

The plane, with registration number 5N-ENR, was operating a commercial flight on the Enugu–Benin–Lagos route when the incident occurred. According to airport sources, the aircraft overshot the runway and veered into nearby bushes.

“The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) immediately mobilized emergency response teams, and all passengers were safely evacuated. No casualties were recorded,” a source at the airport disclosed.

While the exact number of crew members on board has not yet been confirmed, officials assured that everyone was accounted for and unharmed.

The swift intervention of FAAN and airport emergency services prevented what could have been a major disaster.

Video footage of the incident has since surfaced online, showing the aircraft after the crash-landing.
