England secured a place in the semifinals of the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup with a 2–1 victory over Norway in the quarterfinals. Tuchel’s side clinched the win in extra time after a grueling 120 minutes of play.
The first half ended 1–1, with Norway opening the scoring before Jude Bellingham struck late to level the match.
The second half was goalless, and the game ended in a draw, before thirty minutes of extra time where England got the win with a goal by Bellingham.
Bellingham now has six goals in the tournament, taking him to third on the goalscoring chart.
England will now face either Argentina or Switzerland in the semi final in Atlanta, Georgia, on July 15.
