Stakeholders from Akpugo community in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, representing diverse interest groups, have reaffirmed their unwavering support for the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and his 2027 re-election bid.
The stakeholders cited the Governor’s proven track record, visionary leadership, and outstanding performance as clear evidence of his capacity to lead Enugu State into sustainable prosperity that will benefit future generations.
They emphasized that Governor Mbah embodies the kind of transformational leadership the state requires beyond 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the group during a media briefing on Thursday morning, Chief Simon Eze, owner of Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel/Suites in Lagos, praised Governor Mbah’s achievements, describing them as his “unique selling points” that will strengthen his campaign.
According to Chief Eze:
“Governor Mbah has remarkably distinguished himself for greatness, and his victory is assured.”
Chief Eze disclosed that stakeholders in Nkanu West are preparing to launch a door-to-door campaign to mobilize support for the Governor and his deputy.
He explained that the initiative is designed to connect directly with residents, highlight the importance of sustaining progressive governance, and position Enugu as a prime investment destination.
He outlined the strategy as follows:
Moving neighbourhood to neighbourhood, ward to ward, street to street, and door to door to engage voters.
Visiting homes, markets, schools, estates, religious centres, and communities to canvass support.
Motivating APC members and other registered residents to rally behind Governor Mbah’s re-election.
Chief Eze expressed confidence that the campaign would deliver an unprecedented landslide victory, stressing that the Governor’s performance has already won the trust of the people.
The stakeholders concluded that Governor Mbah’s administration has laid a solid foundation for economic growth, social development, and investment opportunities, and that his re-election would ensure continuity of reforms and consolidation of progress.
