Akpugo stakeholders, representing diverse interest groups across Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, have reiterated their strong backing for Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration and his 2027 re-election bid.
Citing his proven track record and outstanding performance as Governor, the stakeholders expressed confidence in his capacity to lead Enugu State into sustainable prosperity that future generations will benefit from.
They emphasized that Governor Mbah embodies the kind of visionary leadership the state needs beyond 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders with newsmen on Monday morning, June 1, 2026, Chief Simon Eze, owner of Seamark Electric Plc and Golden Tree Hotel/Suites in Lagos, praised the Governor’s achievements, describing them as his “unique selling points” that will strengthen his campaign.
According to him, “Governor Mbah has remarkably distinguished himself for greatness, and his victory is assured.”
Chief Eze further disclosed that stakeholders in Nkanu West will soon launch a door-to-door campaign to mobilize support for the Governor and his deputy. He explained that the initiative is designed to connect directly with residents, highlight the importance of sustaining progressive governance, and position Enugu as a prime investment destination.
“Our strategy is to move from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, ward to ward, street to street, and door to door to convince and motivate APC members and other residents registered for the forthcoming elections,” he said.
“We are also visiting homes, markets, schools, estates, religious centres, and communities to canvass support for Governor Mbah. By the grace of God, he will achieve an unprecedented landslide victory.”
