The Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Dr. Kayode Opeifa, has condemned the activities of the individuals who created different social media accounts in his name calling them identity thieves and fraudsters, even as he dissociated himself from every social media accounts posing as him on digital media.
Reacting to the fake accounts in his name, the former Lagos Transportation Commissioner wrote:

My attention has been drawn to the existence of several fake social media accounts impersonating me. I am using this medium to inform the general public that I will never request for any form of favor, assistance, or personal engagement from anyone through social media or any unofficial channel.
All official communications and verified updates are strictly shared via the official handles @drkayodeopeifa across all social media platforms.
Members of the public are therefore advised to disregard and report any fraudulent pages or suspicious messages claiming to represent Dr. Kayode Opeifa.
