It has been congratulations galore for the highly revered and anointed man of God, motivational speaker and community leader, Pastor Peter Agboola of the Christ Apostolic Church who turned 77 today, Tuesday June 24, 2025.
Notable pastors and organizations from across the country and other parts of the world have joined his family members, children, grandchildren, in-laws, mentees and protégés in sending their congratulatory messages to the great Preacher of the word of salvation.
Born on the 24th day of June 1948, the distinguished Senior Pastor since he dropped his secular job for the cassock and started his own ministry has exemplified practical Christianity. His trajectory speaks volumes on some of the actions he takes on issues.
Pastor Agboola speaks truth to power and walks where angels fear to tread. Over the years, he has shown with his conduct, his ministry that he is a man of honour with the love of the people in his heart. In return, this has earned him tremendous respect and love among the elites and the ordinary man on the street.
That was demonstrated on a large scale on this auspicious day when he turned 77.
In retrospect, this septuagenarian of class, discipline and integrity was born and bred in Ijesha land, Osun State and had his elementary education in Idoka, a suburb in Ilesha before moving to Ilesha town for his commercial studies.
He later came to Lagos to learn a vocation but was subsequently prevented. Fate was kind to him as he later completed his secondary education and went ahead to obtain National and advanced Diploma in Marketing and Research from National School of Salesmanship, London.
Thereafter, he worked with Haco Nigeria Limited, Apex Mill and Onward Paper Mill respectively. After a while he started his own business, running a big printing press and general merchandise before answering the call of God.
He has been in full Christian ministry since 1988. He attended Life Theological Seminary Ikorodu, ECWA Theological Seminary and C.A.C Theological Seminary for pastoral training.
Records impressively show that this moral icon and his late wife, Lady Evangelist Victoria Agboola and one of his sons, Jeremiah were all born in month of June.
One of his sons who is also a Christian cleric, St. Paul Peters Oba’Adedoyin of the Blazing Tower of Christ (non denominational) expressed admiration for his mentor, spiritual and biological father’s unwavering commitment to his calling, stating, “Sir, seventy-seven years have fashioned you into an unbreakable pillar, a leader refined in the fires of vision and tempered by the calling that rests upon you.”
As the celebrant embarks on a new chapter in his life, St. Paul Peters on behalf of other children offered his heartfelt wishes: “May you continue to reap the fruits of your labour in good health and with long life with abiding fulfillment. May your path also be illuminated with even greater light, your spirit enriched with boundless grace, and your influence as an apostle deepen across the generations.”
This tribute serves as a testament to the profound impact that Pastor Agboola has had on the lives of many. His legacy of faith, hope, and love continues to inspire and uplift generations to come and he is still very much available to perform more exploits for God in His Vineyard as he looks more youthful strong.
