Ibadan-born businessman and publisher of The Street Journal Magazine, Mogaji Wole Arisekola has bared his mind on the most fundamental essence of humanity, stating that people should tread softly and not allow “wealth and worldly things” becloud their reasoning.

The celebrity journalist dropped the hint on his social media page on Monday as a form of nugget to his associates, friends, mentees and protégés in order for them to cogitate about it.

Arisekola wrote:

“I recently discovered something about wealth and worldly things. When I’m on a plane and the door is shut, I realize that I don’t have access to anything on the ground until the plane lands safely. The same applies to my memory when I am sleeping—I don’t remember where I was the previous night, my bank accounts, my wife, or my children.

“Now, fast forward. Why do we think all that we are acquiring now will go with us to the grave? What will happen if we sleep now and don’t wake up tomorrow? What happens to our wealth? It will surely pass to another person who knew nothing about our lives.

“Let us tread softly.
