Nigerian soul singer Timi Dakolo has publicly called out Moroccan national carrier, Royal Air Maroc, over the disappearance of his luggage during a recent international trip. The incident, which dates back to June 26, 2025, involved a business class flight from Lagos to Casablanca, with a connecting leg to Freetown.

Despite expectations of priority handling, Dakolo said his checked-in bag never made it to his final destination, and multiple follow-ups have yielded no results.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, July 17, Dakolo expressed his frustration, writing: “Royal Air Maroc has refused to provide answers or trace my missing luggage since June 26. I flew business class, did everything right, yet here we are. I have emailed, filed a report, contacted Nahco… nothing. I now believe the bag was stolen.”

He added that the airline’s silence and inaction were not only unprofessional but suggestive of a deeper issue in their baggage handling process. The singer also tagged the airline and Nigerian aviation authorities in his post, urging them to act swiftly.

His post has since sparked outrage among fans and fellow travellers, with on-air personality Daddy Freeze also lending his voice to the matter. This is not the first time Royal Air Maroc has been called out by Nigerian passengers.

In a separate case, another traveller has reportedly waited nearly 11 months for the airline to pay $1,713 in compensation for a misplaced bag. The mounting complaints suggest systemic flaws in RAM’s customer service and baggage management, drawing increased scrutiny from the Nigerian public.
