The national grid has collapsed for the first time in 2025, plunging Nigerians into darkness and uncertainty in the new year.
The grid collapse which took place on Saturday, January 11, was confirmed by reports, resulting in a nationwide blackout.
The development makes it the 13th time in the past 13 months, with reports revealing that power generation dropped from 2111.01 megawatts as of 2 pm to 390.20 MW by 3 pm.
