  3. Patrick Yakowa (Kaduna State): He became governor in 2010 after Namadi Sambo was appointed Vice President.
  4. Christopher Alao-Akala (Oyo State): He served as acting governor after Rashidi Ladoja’s impeachment in 2006 and later became governor in 2007.
  5. Bala James Ngilari (Adamawa State): He took over as governor after Murtala Nyako’s impeachment in 2014.
