Otunba Segun Showunmi has joined leaders of the business community and other high profile Nigerians in pouring encomiums on the President of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote by extolling his entrepreneurial acumen while also wishing him much more successes in life.
Showunmi, the convener of the National Opposition Movement Coalition (NOMC) also known as “The Alternative” in his glowing tribute on Thursday congratulated the Forbes’ rated richest African and black man on his 68th birthday anniversary, describing him Nigeria’s Rockefeller and for successfully inaugurating a petrochemical industry, which stands to reduce Nigeria’s absolute dependency on foreign refining services.
The former Ogun State gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) further appealed to the business mogul to look inwards and extend his support to his home state, Kano and turning it into a tourism destination, adding that, “Whatever Dubai can do Kano can do it starts with belief!”
