Lagos society Lady, and Director-General of a political support group, Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors, Alhaja Tai Elemosho-Okesanjo, otherwise known as Montai, is a year older today, Monday, December 23, 2024.

To celebrate the day, the well connected woman of style whose popular boutique, Montai located on Toyin Street, Lagos caters for high calibre people, gathered family members and a few friends to celebrate the auspicious day.

Since early hours of Monday, Montai has been receiving messages from a cross section of top government officials, family members, friends, associates, Sanwo-Olu Ambassadors, mentors, mentees and protégés.

This sweet-mannered, decent and cerebral Nigeria’s entrepreneur is a trained mass communicator at the University of Lagos, her NYSC was at the defunct Savannah Bank from where she later joined the Commercial Department of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA). Then, Victory Merchant Bank, and later Victory Finance, as Head, Treasury Department.

Married to Abiodun and blessed with a daughter whom she adores, she set up Montai in 1994; first on Apapa Road. And six years later, she relocated the business to Toyin Street, in Ikeja, Lagos, where it still stands.

As devout Muslim, she has been to Mecca over 20 times and is still not tired. Outgoing and always outstandingly dressed, taking your eyes off her made-to-fit dresses is not just possible. And even if that fails to attract you, her soothing ways and manners will definitely do.

Elemesho truly epitomizes hard work, perseverance, doggedness, humility, diligence and patriotism. The fact that she treasures the virtue of true friendship and loyalty to any cause she believes in, gives her the cutting edge.

Cheers for a woman of exceptional ability and performance. She glows as one who has made good for herself and for her country. She stands out as an investor per excellence and through her brilliant investments, hard work and success she has become one of the pillars of the Nigerian economy in terms of human capital development. Congratulations to the dogged, pragmatic, irrepressible and indefatigable Montai.
