The Group Managing Director, Sahara Power Group, Dr Kola Adesina has lost his mother, madam Adejumoke Awero Adesina, who breathed her last on Friday, May 16th, 2025.
The passing of the Adesina matriarch was made public on behalf of the family in a statement issued by the Sahara Group boss on Tuesday, adding that, mama lived a life characterized by grace, strength, and unwavering love for her family and all who knew her.
The deceased is survived by children and grandchildren.
According to Dr Adesina, burial arrangements would be annouced in due course.
In an emotionally laden tone, Adesina wrote:
“It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Mrs. Adejumoke Awero Adesina, who peacefully departed this life on Friday, May 16th, 2025.
“She lived a life characterized by grace, strength, and unwavering love for her family and all who knew her. While we are heartbroken by her loss, we find solace in our gratitude for the precious gift of her life and the cherished memories we will forever hold dear.
“Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. During this difficult time, we request that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
