A former member of the House of Representatives who represented Ife Federal Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has joined other eminent Nigerians to wish the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, happy birthday as the royal father turns 51 on Friday, October 17, 2025.
Makinde in his glowing tribute to the monarch described him as a liberal, generous and a unique leader who has a penhant and love for peace. He further called the 51st Ooni who is incidentally marking his 51st years birthday anniversary, a great investor with outstanding administrative and operational skill set and an iconic brand who derives journey in making people happy.
The former parliamentarian added that Ooni has redefined monarchical institution with a midas touch since his ascendancy to the throne of his forebears, stressing that the Ooni as an astute 21st century monarch who understands the dynamism of culture and its role in the development of a nation.
