Emotions flowed freely on Friday afternoon as the remains of Madam Aishetu Ojeifo, mother of THE CONCLAVE publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Sufuyan Ojeifo, were buried in Agbede, Edo State.
The interment took place in her residence at No 2 Catholic Church Road and was presided over by a team of pastors from her local church- Gospel Faith Mission, Alaafia Assembly, Ashewa Street, Owo.
The sermon centred on Madam Ojeifo’s service and commitment to the work of God.
The message was short and sharp, like the Angel’s visit, exploring the theme of a purposeful life.
At the end of it, prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed.
Children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as well-wishers were either solemn or emotional as the casket bearing the remains of Madam Ojeifo was lowered into the grave.
Meanwhile, the celebration of the life and times of Madam Ojeifo will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Mariam Marayola Event Centre, Okedogbon Street, Owo, Ondo State. This will be held shortly after a special church service for Madam Ojeifo at the Gospel Faith Mission, Alaafia Assembly.
