President Tinubu Meets New Service Chiefs at Aso Rock

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday received the newly appointed Service Chiefs and the Chief of Defence Intelligence at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja.

The meeting, held behind closed doors, was the first formal engagement between the President and the new military leadership since their appointment. Those in attendance included the Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General OO Oluyede, alongside the Chiefs of Army, Navy, and Air Staff, and the Chief of Defence Intelligence.

President Tinubu charged the new Service Chiefs to demonstrate professionalism, unity of purpose, and unwavering commitment in addressing the nation’s security challenges. He reaffirmed his administration’s determination to strengthen the Armed Forces and ensure peace and stability across the country.

The meeting underscored the administration’s focus on security sector reforms and renewed synergy among the services to deliver on the President’s vision of a safer and more secure Nigeria.
