President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Highness, Dr. Ufuwai Bonet, the Chief of Kagoro, as he marked his 90th birthday on Wednesday.
Dr. Bonet, a first-class traditional ruler and Deputy Chairman of the Kaduna State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, ascended the throne in 2008 and has since been widely regarded for his efforts in promoting peace and community development across Southern Kaduna.
In a goodwill message released by the Presidency, President Tinubu joined the people of Kagoro Chiefdom, the government and people of Kaduna State, as well as friends and admirers, in celebrating the milestone.
The President hailed the monarch’s steadfast commitment to peace and security in his domain and beyond, describing him as a custodian of culture and an advocate of unity.
“Your Royal Highness has shown character, discipline, and a commitment towards peace and security, not just in your domain but in the entire Kaduna State. Please keep up the good work,” President Tinubu said.
He also commended the traditional ruler for championing cultural revival and preservation, while praying for his continued good health and strength in service to his people and the nation.
