On August 1st, 2025, Ikeja Electric proudly commissioned the state-of-the-art Kwaru 15MVA Injection Substation in the Abaranje-Ikotun axis of Lagos State. This strategic infrastructure milestone marks a major leap toward improving the quality and reliability of electricity supply across the rapidly growing Ikotun corridor.
The newly launched substation is set to benefit over 50,000 residents and businesses, offering more stable, efficient, and sustainable power. Equipped with cutting-edge technology, it will:
