Parents who are residents of Oriade LCDA have expressed their appreciation and commendation to the executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede for organizing a Christmas Grotto, a fun-packed activities for the children during the yuletide season, anchored by Pace Entertainment.
According to the residents the Chairman has been instrumental in supporting the development and well-being of the youths by encouraging them to pursue their dreams and eschewing defiant behaviours. They further acknowledged that his dedication to the development of youth’s potential is commendable and flawless.
These sweet remarks were made on Friday, December 26, 2025; day-two of the Christmas Grotto which had in attendance the Chairman’s immediate family members and his biological father, High Chief Akogun Raheem Olojede.
A random interview conducted by Veracity Desk (veracitydesk.com) with some of the parents who brought their children to the First Bank Sports Complex, venue of the event at Ayinke Timson road, captured how fun seekers hailed the exemplary leadership of the Chairman, particularly his love for the children.
The parents were also thrilled by the Chairman’s amiable gesture even as he was seen exchanging pleasantries with the children, taking pictures with them, sharing gifts to winners of participants involved in a dancing competition and also celebrating with a birthday boy alongside his mother whose birthday was December 26.
Olojede equally wowed the audience by giving out free food and drinks to the children.
A perfume merchant who gave his name as Nnamdi has this to say about the event: “I am happy this is happening in Satellite Town for the very first time, we no longer need to go as far as Lekki, Ikeja or Victoria Island before we can have a feel and look of the yuletide season, but our current Chairman, Hon. Olojede has put a smile on our faces. May God bless him, his family and his entire team at Oriade LCDA for coming up with a laudable initiative like this. I also commend Pace Entertainment too, for their professionalism and for being safety conscious and management of crowd. The decorations, laughter, and warmth made it an unforgettable evening for us attendees. Thank you, Mr Chairman for creating such cherished memories.”
A woman of three who would not want her name to be mentioned who live in Daily Times Estate said, “To the host of this Christmas Grotto that is the Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Hon. The lovely treats for the children and joyful atmosphere were the perfect ingredients for a magical yuletide season. Heartfelt thanks to all those who made this happen, my children really enjoyed themselves. The camaraderie and merriment shared were truly special. Thanks to the executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA for spreading festive cheer in Satellite Town in this magnitude.”
Toyin Adisa a resident of Abule Osun Waterside (Irede) who came with her five children added her voice also, she said; “To the host extraordinaire, Chairman Oriade LCDA, Hon. Jasmine Ndukire, a resident of Oriade Kirikiri who celebrated the birthday of her son, Godslove Okechukwu with the Chairman at the well decorated premises said: “Bravo, to our wonderful executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA. This event is simply a festive symphony of joy. The thoughtful details and warm company made it a memory we’ll cherish. The music, the games for the children, train ride and face painting are just too remarkable. Our Chairman is truly a grassroots leader, very open, accomodating , friendly and loving. I even saw him with his children. This organisers too, Pace Entertainment are very creative and phenomenal in their conducts. I love the games, the laughter, and the memories we made, all thanks to the hosts, the Oriade LCDA Chairman and Pace Entertainment. It was a wonderful hosting.”
