“Kemi, as you and the rest of the family mourn, I pray God Almighty to comfort you and grant the soul of Mama eternal rest. May the planned ceremonies for February 6 and 7 at both Ibadan and Abeokuta remain fruitful, colorful and eventful without any disappointment.
“Though Mama has gone to be with her Lord and Creator, her life was enough a lesson for all of us to learn from. As a devout Christian, she served God with all her heart and ensured that her family members, friends and acquaintances, all benefited from her caring and warm disposition.
“We all shall continue to remember her for good; her life is indeed worthy of emulation as she epitomised virtuosity and piety. As a disciplinarian, she espoused the virtues of love, honesty and integrity, and bestowed these values to her children, including you who have been a quintessential and virtuous woman by every standard. I must also add that your support for President Bola Tinubu GCFR during the 2023 presidential election has also marked you out for greater glory.
Elegbeleye urged the Olokode and Ogunbona families to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fulfilled life in the service of her creator and humanity.
