The Executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede has made do his promise to his constituents by bringing back the lost fun of Christmas with its vibrant nightlife, festive events, and unique traditions that embodies the essence of the season, under a serene and secure environment.
In conjunction with Pace Entertainment, the LCDA is putting together a three-day fun-packed CHRISTMAS GROTTO to keep the kids entertained over this yuletide season starting from December 25 (Christmas Day), running through December 26 (Boxing Day) and December 27 respectively.
The Executive Chairman who will be accompanied by his entire team from Oriade LCDA will officially declare the event open for public use by 10 am on Thursday, December 26, 2025.
According to the organisers, the event will be taking place at First Bank Sports Complex, by Ayinke Timson road, Satellite Town, from 10 am to 6 pm daily. Children aged 0-16 stand to experience a wonderland brimming with festive cheer, adventure, and endless fun.
Every child in attendance will also get to explore Train Track Stay and Play Sessions, Bouncing Castle, Face Painting, Music, Dance Stage, Family Games, and many more fun activities.
For the gamers, there are PS4, PS5, and even virtual reality games. And of course, no Christmas would be complete without a visit to Santa’s grotto and a chance to capture the memories with family Christmas portraits.
More interestingly admission to the event arena is FREE.
Organisers further assured fun seekers of free gifts from Santa Claus for the three days. However, beneficiaries of this largesse will only be first 50 children to the event centre on a daily basis.
Speaking about the reason for this year’s Christmas Grotto, the LCDA Chairman said:
