The executive Chairman of Oriade LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Akorede Olojede has commended Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his initiative to promote the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.
The astute politician made these remarks when he hosted some party and community leaders at the council’s secretariat on Monday.
While referencing the Governor’s initiative which was recently inaugurated at the 10 Degrees Event Centre in Ikeja aimed at deepening public awareness of the Tinubu administration’s policies and programs across all communities in Lagos State, Olojede said Mr Governor has again justified his love and loyalty for the party and also the President, whom he described as best man for the job of good governance.
Olojede equally expressed optimism that the coordinators appointed for the initiative are all capable of engaging residents in their communities, speaking in local languages to communicate the administration’s successes. He added that the initiative should not be termed a political campaign but a platform to inform citizens about ongoing reforms and achievements of the Federal Government.
He affirmed that the initiative will significantly help in bridging the gap between government policies and the people, ensuring that federal and state programs deliver tangible benefits at the local level.
The Oriade LCDA boss as well disclosed that plans are already on the way to inaugurate City Boy Movement and its Ambassadors which will be made up of men and women of integrity, seasoned professionals who are highly disciplined and visionary, with persuasive and organising skills as well as integrity.
He said, “The appointment as well as inauguration of City Boy Movement and it’s Ambassadors at Oriade LCDA is coming at a time when political engagement across demographic groups is intensifying. By bringing high-profile figures into youth-oriented movements, the City Boy Movement seeks to bridge the gap between grassroots voices and national leadership, reinforcing a message that active participation that can shape policy and growth outcomes. We want the best for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and I assure everyone that Oriade LCDA will surely take the lead with excellence.”
The executive Chairman further described President Tinubu as a progressive Nigerian who wants to leave a legacy, make a good shift in the way the nation is built and is intentional about the country.
“For us at the grassroots level our business is to tell the people the good work of President Tinubu’s agenda and I am deeply happy that Oriade LCDA is coming together enmasse to declare their support and loyalty for APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And I am pleased that today, Nigerians are coming out in droves to throw their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and give him all the support that he needs.
“Here is the time for us to invest our votes where there’s progress, and that’s Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu a pathfinder and trailblazer. It’s on his mandate that we’re going to stand. He came and started giving us relevance, bringing us closer and putting back Nigeria to her right path socio-economically through his well thought out reforms and transformative agenda.”
He also appealed to the residents of Oriade LCDA to make sure APC becomes stronger in the locality through their efforts, commitment and patriotism so as to record landslide victory in the future elections while also enjoining them to assiduously ensure that President Tinubu’s reelection becomes a reality in 2027.
“As a government, Oriade LCDA is happy to associate with every resident irrespective of their religious, or ethnic backgrounds, our focus is to essentially go from house to house to tell them about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Tell them what he’s doing for the country in particular. The wisdom of launching Renewed Hope Ambassadors by Governor Sanwoolu at State level and also for us at grassroots level with the plan to launch our City Boy Movement all of these will remarkably brighten our chances politically and foster unprecedented victory for us all.
“We need everyone’s support to kickstart campaign for Asiwaju Tinubu, because he’s doing much and no one is talking to people as much as possible. If we can spread out and begin to talk to people, we’ll make good success with abiding fullfilment.
