The Chairperson of Asiwaju Renewed Hope (ARH’23), a support group for President Bola Tinubu during 2023 presidential campaign; Kemi Olokode-Ayelabola who lost her mother, madam Beatrice Modupe Olokode, at the age of 90 in November, 2024, buried her in Abeokuta on Friday, February 7, 2025.
The private interment was followed by a thanksgiving and reception to commemorate mama’s well spent life as well as her glorious exit to meet her creator took place at ONTEC Events Centre, located at MKO Abiola way, Abeokuta.
The event was well attended by top socialites and dignitaries across different industries, as the guest list was practically a roll call of the who’s who in the country.
Guests present include the Speaker of Ogun State Assembly, Rt. Hon. Oludaisi Olusegun Elemide, Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. (Mrs.) Lateefat Bolanle Ajayi, Majority Leader Hon. Yusuf Sherif Abiodun, Hon. Adegoke, Olusesi Adeyanju, Hon. (Chief) Lamidi Musefiu Olatunji, Hon. Soneye, Damilola Kayode, Hon. Bello Mohammed Oluwadamilare, Hon. ‘Kunle Sobukanla etc.
Others were Alhaji Shittu Akindele and his adorable wife Alhaja Olabisi Akindele, Chairman of Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL), Otunba (Hon) Gbenga Elegbeleye was represented by Emmanuel Ajibulu, publisher of Veracity Desk (veracitydesk.com) in company of Pastor Sunday Sobowale CEO of MOG oil and Gas, among others.
