A 47-year-old Nigerian man, Morenikeji Adewale, is currently facing trial at Southwark Crown Court, London, for allegedly raping a 19-year-old woman near a popular nightclub.
The suspect, who reportedly entered the UK on a tourist visa and used a fake identity to secure a job, was unmasked through fingerprint evidence.
Prosecutors allege that the victim, a Christian teenager who had vowed to remain abstinent until marriage, was too intoxicated to consent at the time of the incident.
