On this auspicious occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, I, Chief (Mrs.) Yetunde Sakirat Adesanya, the APC Southwest Woman Leader, extend my heartfelt congratulations to our dear nation, to His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and to every Nigerian woman at home and in the diaspora.

This day reminds us not only of the sacrifices of our heroes past, but also of the relentless struggles of our foremost women who fought rigorously for the birth of our great nation. I celebrate these heroines, both past and present, and I especially honor the living icons among us, including Her Excellency Senator (Mrs.) Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, whose dedication continues to inspire millions of women and mothers across the land.

To the upcoming mothers and the younger generation of women, I say: the future of Nigeria is bright, and your role in shaping it cannot be underestimated. Let us continue to rise as nation-builders, peace advocates, and torchbearers of hope.
As we celebrate today, let us pray for our dear country, uphold unity, and work together in love and resilience. Nigeria is destined for greatness, and with God’s guidance, our collective efforts will make her stronger, more prosperous, and more peaceful.

God bless us all.
God bless the women of Nigeria.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
